Mechanical Design Engineer (Configuration Engineering)

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will focus on order-based or modifying the design of the existing products. We expect you to have relevant work experience in mechanical design with 3D CAD software. You will be designing components and sub-systems for our cryogen-free dilution refrigerators, participating in engineering change projects, and creating detailed manufacturing drawings. Your tasks will also include maintaining design data in our data management systems (PDM, ERP) and participating in ongoing team-specific projects (i.e. CAD data management, documentation, process development, etc.).
To succeed in this role, you have ability to create high quality technical drawings with minute details and knowledge of different production methods. Since you will be communicating directly with other departments as well as our suppliers, we expect you to have excellent communication skills. For example, in this position you will work in close collaboration with our Sales, R&D, Product departments as well as various manufacturing, assembly and testing teams. Even though you work very well independently, you also have good teamwork spirit and a positive, hands-on attitude.
