Site Planning Engineer

As our team continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Site Planning Engineer to join our evolving and supportive Site Planning team. In this role, you will work closely with our customers and internal stakeholders to ensure our systems integrate seamlessly into customer facilities. Your tasks will include independently preparing and maintaining laboratory layouts and revisions with high accuracy using 3D Creo; planning and scheduling system installations in close coordination with customers and our global installation engineers; acting as the primary technical interface toward customers for all site-related topics; managing dependencies, timelines, and stakeholder expectations to keep site-planning activities on schedule while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction; and keeping layout-related data accurate and up to date in our ERP system (Roima LEAN).
We are looking for a proactive, structured professional with a solid technical background and hands-on experience in 3D design. You communicate confidently and professionally in English and are comfortable translating customer requirements into practical, compliant engineering solutions. You exercise sound judgment, work both independently and as part of a team, and can prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, international environment. A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (or a comparable technical discipline) and a couple of years of relevant experience in site planning or layout engineering are important for success in this role. Strong, practical experience with 3D Creo (or extensive experience with related tools such as Revit or SolidWorks) is essential, alongside demonstrated capability to coordinate complex activities and interact with multiple stakeholders.
You will stand out if you bring excellent prioritization and time-management skills, high standards for quality and technical accuracy, and an independent, hands-on working style coupled with strong collaboration and communication. Experience working with ERP systems and familiarity with Windchill PLM are beneficial. Knowledge of applicable regulations and technical standards related to electricity and buildings is highly valued, and you apply such knowledge pragmatically in real-world project environments.

Main responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate laboratory layouts and revisions using 3D Creo.
Plan and schedule system installations in coordination with customers and our global installation teams.
Serve as the primary technical interface for site-related topics toward customers.
Manage site-planning activities according to agreed schedules while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Maintain and update layout-related data in the ERP system (Roima LEAN).
What we expect from you
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
A few years of experience in site planning or layout engineering.
Strong skills in 3D Creo or similar 3D design tools (e.g., Revit, SolidWorks).
Excellent English communication skills.
Ability to manage complex coordination tasks and work independently with a customer-focused mindset.
