Our Service Products team is now looking for a Summer Trainee for Asset Data Management to support our growing aftersales business. This position will give you valuable experience in data management and analytics, helping you to strengthen your skills and future career plans. You would be a perfect fit if you are, for example, a student in mechanical or electrical engineering, physics, or a related field. Previous experience in data analytics or technical support is an advantage, but the most important thing is your proactive, can-do attitude!
In this position, you will work on defining use cases for installed base asset data from customer support, field service, and sales perspectives. You will analyze data quality across different IT systems, plan general data structures for aftersales purposes, and contribute to creating models for managing installed base asset data. Your work will have a real impact on improving processes and supporting our global service operations. You feel at home working in an international environment and enjoy collaborating with colleagues from different backgrounds while maintaining a mindset for accuracy and quality.
To succeed in this role, you are a positive team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You are comfortable working with data and IT tools, and you want to contribute to building efficient processes. Main responsibilities:
Define use cases of installed base asset data from customer support, field service, and sales perspectives
Analyze the data quality of installed base assets in different IT systems
Plan general installed base asset data structure for aftersales purposes
Contribute to creating a model for managing installed base asset data
What we expect from you
Studies in mechanical/electrical engineering, physics, or related fields
Knowledge and interest in data analytics
Excellent Excel skills
Good decision-making and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork skills
We also appreciate
Knowledge of PDM, ERP, and CRM tools
Previous experience in technical support, aftersales business, or field services
Attention to detail and structured way of working
Additional technical or IT experience
