This year we offer a Summer Trainee position in our Sourcing & Procurement team! Position in our Sourcing & Procurement team will support you at the end of your studies and helps you to gain work experience in the field of high-tech product manufacturing, while enhancing the possible future career plans of yours. For this role we are hoping to find student, who is already in the final steps in studies and has already gained some experience in purchase work.
Your tasks would include executing daily purchasing activities. You will be following up on orders, ensuring those are made in a correct and timely manner and monitoring and reacting to the changing levels of demand. This helps us ensure timely purchasing and availability for manufacturing/other needs.
To succeed in this role, you might be a student of any Engineering degree, Business degree or equivalent, as long as you are interested in Sourcing and Procurement and have some experience in that field from school courses or work life. Whichever you are focusing on, we hope that it’s at least your third year. You are an open-minded team player with great communication skills, positive attitude, and eye for detail. You have the ability to plan things ahead, work independently and take initiative. Curious attitude and eagerness to learn will take you a long way.
The Sourcing and Procurement team is a group of passionate professionals from different backgrounds and nationalities, and this is a great opportunity for you to develop yourself as a future professional. Our work language is English, but to succeed in this position you need to have fluent Finnish skills as well, and this position offers you a great opportunity to improve your strong communication skills even further.
Main responsibilities:
Executing daily purchasing activities
Ensuring the orders are made in a correct and timely manner

Monitoring and reacting to changing levels of demand
What we expect from you
Degree or advanced level studies in business or technical study program
Genuine interest and some working experience in Sourcing & Procurement
Fluent Finnish and English language skills, both written and spoken
Good teamwork and communication skills
Ability to plan things ahead
Eye for detail

Please note that this position requires you to have the legal right to work in Finland for the entire duration of the traineeship. Bluefors does not provide relocation assistance or visa sponsorship for this summer trainee role.
