Our Vacuum Assembly team is now looking for Summer Workers (Assemblers) to support the great growth story of ours. This position will give you hands-on experience in high-tech product manufacturing and testing of Bluefors cryostat products, supporting your studies and future career plans. Our team is responsible for assembling and testing system components with precision and quality.
Your tasks will include manufacturing, assembling, and testing cryostat-related products with a strong focus on craftsmanship and quality. Tasks include assembling electrical, vacuum, and pneumatic components, soldering connectors and cables, vacuum testing and functional testing of components. You’ll also execute production plans independently or under guidance, solve daily challenges to keep operations running smoothly, and follow established routines and safety standards.
To succeed in this role, you should be comfortable using tools and interested in assembling electrical components. A strong safety mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to quality are essential. We expect you to have a positive, hands-on attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work independently within a great team. Good English language skills are required, as our daily work language is English.
The Vacuum Assembly team is a tight group of passionate professionals from different backgrounds and nationalities, and this is a great opportunity for you to develop yourself as a future professional. Main responsibilities:
Manufacture, assemble, and test cryostat-related products
Execute production plans independently or under guidance
Assemble electrical, vacuum, and pneumatic components
Solder connectors and cables
Vacuum testing and functional testing of components
Solve daily challenges to ensure smooth workflow
Follow established routines, measures, and safety standards
What we expect from you
Previous manufacturing or technical experience
Knowledge of using hand or power tools
English language skills
Strong safety mindset and adherence to practices
Quality-oriented and meticulous approach to work
Ability to learn quickly and work independently
We also appreciate
Knowledge of electronics and/or vacuum components, working with metals and plastics
Ability to work independently and precisely
Good communication and teamwork skills
Motivation to work with technical details
Basic skills of soldering
Willingness to learn about the products in a specialist industry
Please note that this position requires you to have the legal right to work in Finland for the entire duration of the traineeship. Bluefors does not provide relocation assistance or visa sponsorship for this summer trainee role.
