Manufacturing Associate-BTA Assembler

We are looking for a Production Associate to join our Base Tube Assembly (BTA) team at Bluefors. In this role, you will support the assembly and quality of Cryomech Base Tube Assemblies, contributing to the production of high-quality, precision components. Your tasks will include assembling Base Tube Assembly components in accordance with documented procedures and specifications to ensure consistency and quality. You will operate and maintain tooling and production equipment safely and effectively while ensuring all work meets established quality standards. You will be responsible for completing and maintaining accurate production and quality documentation, as well as following production schedules to meet operational goals. In addition, you will participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance processes and personal performance, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and adhere to ISO quality system requirements. You may also support team members and perform additional duties as assigned.
We are looking for a candidate with a high school diploma or GED, along with 1–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. You should have the ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, procedure manuals, and mechanical drawings or blueprints. Basic math skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and working with fractions and decimals, are required. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using precise measuring tools and a variety of equipment such as presses, files, grinders, and sanders. You should demonstrate strong attention to detail, the ability to follow documented processes, and a commitment to quality standards. Dependability, adaptability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential, along with clear communication skills and a strong commitment to safety.

Pay range: $19.23-24.03/hr. (DOE)

What We Expect from You

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, reach with arms and hands, and use hand and finger dexterity. The employee is occasionally required to walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
This role operates in a manufacturing environment and interacts primarily with internal customers in a professional, courteous, and cooperative manner. Required personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as applicable. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and occasionally to humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, heat, cold, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately loud.
